Festivalbedingungen – Let The Bad Times Roll Festival
Das Open-Air-Festival in 26736 Manslagt (Ostfriesland) bietet rund 1200 Gästen zwei wetterfeste Bühnen (50 m² & 40 m²) mit professioneller Licht- & Tontechnik inkl. Technikteam. Gesucht werden Punk-, Rock-, Ska-, Metal-, Folk- & Alternative-Bands mit überwiegend eigenen Songs – reine Coverbands sind ausgeschlossen, kreative Interpretationen jedoch willkommen.
Die Hauptbühne bietet Platz für alles von Ska bis Black Metal – gefragt sind energiegeladene Acts mit Haltung und Bühnenpräsenz, ob Szeneveteranen oder etablierte Bands. Die zweite Bühne ist für musikalische Kontraste reserviert – z. B. Post-Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Country, Irish-Folk – gerne mit Charakter, Tiefe oder überraschenden Ideen. Newcomer werden hier ausdrücklich gefördert.
Das Festival wird ehrenamtlich organisiert, daher gibt es keine klassische Gage. Stattdessen wird eine Aufwandsentschädigung auf Kilometerbasis gezahlt. Verpflegung, Backline, Drumset, Mikros etc. werden gestellt – nur Instrumente sind mitzubringen. Pro Band gibt es zusätzlich 2 VIP-Pässe inkl. Catering. Je 1 Begleitperson pro Bandmitglied hat freien Festivalzutritt. Camping im Backstagebereich ist möglich.
Mit der Bewerbung werden die Bedingungen akzeptiert. Agenturen werden gebeten, nur realistische Einzelbewerbungen einzureichen.
Festival Terms – Let The Bad Times Roll Festival
The open-air festival in 26736 Manslagt (East Frisia, Germany) offers to around 1,200 guests: two weatherproof stages (50 m² & 40 m²) equipped with professional lighting and sound technology, including a dedicated tech crew. We are looking for punk, rock, ska, metal, folk, and alternative bands with mostly original songs – pure cover bands are excluded, unless you really make those songs your own.
The main stage accommodates everything from ska to black metal – we’re looking for high-energy acts with attitude and stage presence, whether seasoned veterans or established bands. The second stage is reserved for musical contrasts – such as post-rock, singer-songwriter, country, or Irish folk – ideally with character, depth, or surprising ideas. Newcomers are explicitly encouraged to apply here.
The festival is organized by volunteers, so there is no traditional fee. Instead, a mileage-based expense allowance is provided. Catering, backline, microphones, etc. are supplied – bands only need to bring their instruments. Each band will also receive two VIP passes including catering. Additionally, one accompanying person per band member will be granted free access to the festival. Camping in the backstage area is possible.
